Beth Sampson

In 6th grade ELA, students focus on many styles of writing, fiction and informational texts, public speaking, and our English language, all with the final goal of them becoming a stronger, more compelling reader and writer.

My name is Beth Sampson, and I am the 6th grade language arts teacher. I have been teaching language arts for 24 years, and I have always loved teaching middle school. A little bit of background information about me - I've lived in many parts of the country and left Maine to move to Florida in order to be closer to my family. Other states I've lived in are Indiana, Vermont, Virginia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. I love to travel and some of my favorite places ever are Italy, Switzerland, and Scotland. I hope someday soon to visit Greece, and the Red Woods in Northern California. I am an active person and enjoy playing sports like basketball and softball; I also am a huge football fan. I like to hike, camp, and spend time with friends and family.
